human into the Chainsaw Man. At first, Denji experineced hard battles in
life when he is forcced to pay his old man’s debt but Pochita never
abandoned him. So when Denji almost died by one of the man who lent
money to his father, Pochita gave his heart to Denji as a way to save
the main character.

Giving his heart was not a small deal but since Denji gave Pochita’s
wish which is to be hugged and loved by someone, he was willing to give
up his heart.
