Shinobu is a little, pale-skinned young woman with large, compound-like
eyes that lack pupils and simply have a haze of gradient purple, giving
them an insect-like appearance. She has flat yakai-maki bun with a
white, turquoise, and light purple butterfly adornment on top of her
dark purple-fade, curly hair at the back of her head. She has two
somewhat thinner chin-length hairpieces in front of her ears below her
center-split, ear-length, voluminous curtain bangs that cascade down to
frame the sides of her face.

Shinobu has been described as having a thin, frail physique and being
low in stature. She later adds that she lacks the physical strength of
the other Hashira in order to decapitate a demon. Zenitsu thinks Shinobu
is so adorable that she could support herself just by her good looks.
