Tinker Bell, sometimes known as Tink or Miss Bell, is the lead character
of the Tinker Bell film series, which runs from 1 to 5. She is a fairy
with a Tinker-talent, also known as a pots-and-pans-talent.

Both the Disney Fairies and Tinker Bell brands feature Tinker Bell in
all media. In Peter & Wendy (1904), she made her debut outside the
Disney Fairies franchise. In the movie Tinker Bell, Tinker Bell was born
when a newborn giggled for the first time on a wintry night. The laugh
was transported to Never Land on a dandelion seed (it was later revealed
in Secret of the Wings that the laugh actually split into two seeds, one
of which made its way to the winter woods and became Periwinkle).
