Diana of Themyscira, popularly known as Wonder Woman, was one of the
original seven Justice League founding members and a princess of the
Amazons. Originally from Themyscira, Wonder Woman. After bringing
strangers to Themyscira, she was exiled; nevertheless, she was
subsequently invited back and appointed ambassador for her homeland.

Diana was originally created as a clay sculpture. She was given life by
her mother, Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, so that she may have a
child of her own. She was also endowed by the gods with a variety of
abilities, including flight and incredible physical strength. Hades, the
Greek deity of the Underworld, claimed that he and Diana’s mother had an
affair and used clay to create Diana.
