Senior Officers of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet is Nami. She joined the
crew for the second time during the Orange Town Arc, making her the
third member overall. Following their adoption by Bell-mère as orphans,
she is Nojiko’s adoptive sister.
She originally joined the Straw Hats to rob them in order to reclaim her
village from the Arlong Pirates, of which she was a former member. She
did, however, formally enlist in the Straw Hats once they overthrew
Arlong. Her ultimate goal is to create a globe map.
Nami is a thin young lady with brown eyes and orange hair who is about
normal height. She seems to be viewed as appealing by many characters.
On her left shoulder, where she once had a tattoo for being a member of
Arlong’s crew, she has a black tattoo that reads “mikan” and “pinwheels”
(honouring Bell-mère, Nojiko, and Genzo, respectively).
