belongs to the cast of Sonic the Hedgehog. His anthropomorphic echidna
form makes him the current keeper of the Master Emerald, a potent
ancient crystal held on Angel Island. He is the lone survivor of the
echidna race from the Knuckles Clan, and it is his moral responsibility
to guard it against anybody attempting to exploit it. His two spike-like
knuckles on each of his gloves, from which his name is derived and which
he can use to dig and climb walls, are his dominating attributes. He is
also known for his strong and savage personality. In order to glide
through the air, he may also catch the wind beneath his dreadlocks. One
of Sonic the Hedgehog’s first buddies is Knuckles.
